Come along for a free sculpture workshop at Bath Artists Studios. You will be making a sculpture of a person in air-dry clay. Your figure will then be exhibited along side other sculptures, to form a larger art work called ‘Community’, marking International Women’s Day. The exhibition runs from 8th March to 15th March. Preview evening on 8th March at 6pm.
The figure can be of anyone and they can be painted or left as they are.
If you prefer to make your sculpture at home please come along to pick up the clay.
All sculptures to be brought to the studios by Wednesday 3rd March.
Any questions please call Sue on 01225835131.
These workshops are free, with no hidden costs, but please donate £2 for the clay. Any child attending must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The workshops are run by Sue Larner, a Bath sculptor and graduate of the Royal College of Art. She has run popular sculpture classes on Wednesdays at Bath Artists Studios for 25 years. She also runs drop in life drawing sessions on Tuesday mornings and Sketch and Tipple evenings on alternate Fridays.
