Educated in Brighton, Bristol and Seville, Spain. I have spent the past 9 years living and working in Spain, and have returned to the UK to commit more time to painting and to study Acupuncture in Bath part-time. Given I completed my Fine Art degree at the Universidad de Sevilla, I believe my paintings manifest an expression of core energy and zest for life, infused with the flavour of Spanish culture. With a traditional education and observation still central to my practice, I enjoy making marks, colours, gestures and textures in an unconscious, intuitive way, rather than basing motifs on observed objects. Ones that are expressive and dynamic, that are made in an almost meditative state of mind.
