This is an untutored friendly life drawing class. The life model holds one pose per session and is heavily lit. Bring your own materials. All abilities welcome! Weekly course runs until 9th July. No class on 4th June due to half term.

Sculpt Like an Old Master (afternoon or evening sessions)

Tuesday 21st May

2pm-5pm or 6.30pm-9.30pm

Figurative sculpture class working in clay directly from the model.  Learn traditional techniques dating back to Renaissance times to create a life-like head and a smaller full figure.  Friendly class with tuition and demonstrations for those needing guidance, suitable for all abilities.  Each term we will be taking inspiration from different sculptors from the far and recent past to develop our appreciation of sculpture and help find one’s own style of working.  10 sessions from 16th April to 25th June, no class at half term on 28th May.   Course leader: Olga Fladmark
