Curator, Drawing, Performance, Phenomenology
My work is a process of excavation, an unravelling of layers of time, memory and substance. It is a philosophical enquiry and experience, concerned with trace, elements, the senses, inscription and corporeal interplay. I have held artistic residences in Hungary, Spain, Scotland and the UK, exhibited my work in Germany (Berlin), Hungary (various locales), Japan (Beppu), Sweden (Stockholm), and the UK and curated visual and performance art events at Arnolfini (Bristol, UK), Bath (UK), Berlin (Germany), Corsham (UK) and Salisbury (UK). I am an archaeologist based at University of Oxford as Departmental Lecturer in Archaeological Theory, Methods and Approaches, (OUDCE), former trustee for Bath Artists’ Studios, Project Leader of the BAS ‘Enjoy:Create’ educational project (2013-2015) and Project Leader of ‘Avebury Project’.
