Fine Artist
Vic Walters is a Digital Learning Developer, Associate Lecturer in Visual Culture and Fine Artist. Her sculptural installation practice relates to interconnected narratives of home, ecology and states of emergency and exception. Photography is important to her and photographic documentation of the structures she builds sometimes becomes the work itself. Vic’s visual art practice dialogues with ongoing research, academic writing and critical reflection. Her written research has largely focused on the work and legacies of German 20th Century artist and “radical ecologist” Joseph Beuys. Vic is a member of the artists’ research hub Space, Place, Practice.
